Ciaran McCormack

Project Coordinator, The Climate Reality Project


Ciaran McCormack is a sustainability communications specialist with over twenty years of experience in Australia, Europe, East Africa and Japan. He has worked with a wide range of organisations in the corporate, civil society, university and government sectors.

Ciaran joins MSSI as Program Coordinator of the local branch of The Climate Reality Project (TCRP). Founded and chaired by former US Vice President, the Hon Al Gore, TCRP is a global climate outreach organisation, with the Australia and Pacific branch proudly hosted by MSSI. Ciaran trained as a Climate Reality Leader in Brisbane in 2019.

In his previous role, Ciaran was responsible for communications for an ethical investment fund manager, and earlier in his career he delivered sustainability and community engagement projects for local councils and the Victorian Government. He was also Corporate Responsibility Adviser for ASX-listed Sensis and has coordinated energy efficiency and conservation research programs for Brotherhood of St Laurence and Earthwatch Institute Australia respectively.
