WATCH THE RECORDING

Food for degrowth is about producing and consuming food using caring, convivial, sharing, locally-oriented and climate sensitive practices. Drawing from their new book Food for Degrowth: Perspectives and Practices both co-editors and a contributor will discuss how 'frugal abundance' is practiced around the world and can expand. From cases of food self-provisioning to alternative food networks, farming cooperatives and community supported agriculture, we explore cultural and technological supports, and a sustainable food future for Melbourne.

As part of the National Sustainable Living Festival 2021.
